A Local Farmer's Market at downtown in Chicago, was an
unexpected possibility for me. "Who is going to buy fresh fruit or
vegetables at down town?" I wondered; however last week, my whole English class and I went for a field trip to know the Farmer's Market in downtown. I realize that many people gather at the Farmer's Market to walk, talk and also buy fresh fruit, flowers, herbs, honey, and moreover to eat. This place in the middle of high and important buildings looks like quaint market full of tastes, colors, textures, pleasant talks.
There my classmate Evelyne and I met Christine, a nice person who works in a office near to the market. She told us that she loves to go to the market to buy food and talk with people. She told us that the market is there from Mayo to October. Christine and Evelyne had a conversation in France, and she also speak Spanish.

Also we talked to a friendly vendor, her name is Keila and she sell many kinds of herbs, flowers and vegetables. The name of the company is Smits Farms, like her father the owner. They have more locations in Chicago and she help in the office and selling.
Local Market is
such an amazing place
In half of the city.
